My journey in design began in Colombia and has evolved over a career spanning more than a decade in the United States. I credit my love for color, typography, and design to my origins, further nurtured through half a lifetime of diverse experiences.

Over the years, I have grown from a visual and print designer into a versatile digital design professional, expanding my expertise to encompass user experience (UX) and research. This evolution was fostered by collaborations with exceptional designers and clients on a wide array of projects, including intranets, healthcare and government applications, and mobile apps.

While visual design remains my core passion, I find fulfillment in mentorship, sharing insights, and advocating for the importance of intentional design at every project stage.

My design approach focuses on creating intuitive, scalable, and visually polished experiences by balancing user needs, business goals, and technical constraints. I prioritize research and usability testing to validate decisions, while leveraging design systems and component libraries to ensure consistency and efficiency across complex products. I work closely with product managers and engineers throughout the process, from strategy and discovery through implementation, to translate complex requirements into clear, user-centered solutions that drive measurable results.

Over a decade I’ve had the priviledge of working with many clients, major telecommunication companies, airlines, eCommerce, Supply chain, major beverage companies as well as in-house retail solutions like self-checkout and Point of sale.
